FAQs

  • How do you ensure my dogs safety?

At Scoop Troop, your safety—and your dog’s—is our top priority. We disinfect all equipment and shoes between yards with a kennel-grade cleaner to prevent germs from spreading. After each visit, we snap a photo of your closed gate for peace of mind, and every team member is fully background-checked.

  • How much does it cost to hire a professional scooper?

Scoop Troop service plans start at just $60 per month. Final pricing depends on your yard size, how often we visit, and the number of dogs. Most clients pay between $95 and $135 per month.

  • How does billing work?

All billing is processed on the 1st of each month before services begin. If you sign up before the 1st, your first payment will be charged at the time of sign-up and prorated for that month. Automatic payments can be set up with your bank account or credit/debit card, and you’ll receive both an invoice and receipt by email—also available anytime in your customer portal. If payment isn’t received before your first scheduled cleanup of the month, service will be paused until payment is made.

  • Do I have to sign a contract?

No contracts—ever! You can start, pause, or cancel your service anytime through your customer portal or by giving us a call.

  • Will Scoop Troop clean the entire yard?

Scoop Troop cleans every part of your property where dog waste can pile up—front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, and more.

  • Do you provide services all year round?

Yes! Scoop Troop offers dog waste removal year-round at all locations. Even in winter, we’ll be there—most waste remains scoopable, even with snow on the ground.

  • How do you dispose of the dog poop after each service?

We securely double-bag the waste and place it in your trash can or in a discreet location neatly beside your house.

  • Can you scoop while my dog is in the yard?

Yes, we’re happy to clean with dogs around! 🐾 We just ask that any dog showing signs of aggression be kept inside during service. Our team’s safety is a top priority—if a dog is aggressive toward our staff, we’ll request they be brought inside or, if necessary, remove the home from our route.

  • Do I have to be home when you perform the service?

No — as long as you can provide us safe access to your yard, we can perform the service while you are away.

  • Can I request a specific service day?

Yes! You can request a specific cleanup day. While not all days may be available in your area, our large service team typically offers 2–3 scheduling options to fit your needs.

  • Do you provide arrival times for service?

No, we don’t provide exact arrival times for our pooper scooper services. While we do our best to work with your schedule, routes are optimized the night before to reduce drive time and keep costs low.
